Training Instructor
Hello, my name is Nicki Short, I have been showing and training dogs for over 14 years. I started with the 4-H dog program in Clark County. I compete in obedience, agility, AKC Rally and conformation. I have also titled my dogs in some fun events such as trick dog, canine good citizen, lure coursing, and barn hunt.
I am a CGC evaluator, and I have my Certified Professional Dog Training certificate (CPDT-KA). I have also trained with multiple professional Dog Show handlers throughout the country. I graduated from Washington State University with my bachelors degree in Communications. I enjoy teaching and public speaking and I am very enthusiastic about each class I teach. I feel so lucky to be working for High Expectations dog training as this is an incredible team of professionals.
