Having undergone 10 hours of personalized training, Samson and his handlers have honed the skills necessary to provide invaluable support within the school community. From offering solace during stressful moments to simply brightening someone’s day with a wag of his tail, Samson embodies the spirit of unconditional love and empathy.
But Samson’s journey doesn’t end here. He is currently preparing to undertake the rigorous Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog tests, a testament to his commitment to excellence in service. Through diligent training and unwavering dedication, Samson is poised to become a certified therapy dog, ready to embark on his noble mission of spreading comfort and compassion wherever he goes.
At High Expectations Dog Training, we take great pride in our Therapy Dog Training Class, which aims to equip dogs like Samson with the skills needed to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Our 10-week course focuses on preparing dogs and their handlers for the Pet Partners Therapy Dog Test, a comprehensive assessment designed to evaluate their suitability for therapy work.
Led by experienced instructors, our therapy dog class provides a supportive environment where dogs and handlers can learn and grow together. From mastering basic obedience commands to developing essential therapy skills, we tailor our curriculum to ensure the best possible preparation for the challenges ahead.
It’s important to note that our therapy dog class is a preparation course only, with no test administered at the end of the program.
